As an early Father's day present we took dad salmon fishing on the Clackamas River. Props to our awesome guide Bob Toman who probably could navigate the river blind folded. We left happily with a prized Spring Chinook (King Salmon). It wasn't the largest fish since it was a Jack (young salmon that returned early), but when it comes to flavor and texture it really doesn't get any better.
