from forest park to happy valley

Sorry been slacking a little bit. Last Thursday we toook a leisurely drive through the nation's largest city park.

On Saturday, after running errands at Home Depot and Pet Smart we decided to venture South East to Happy Valley. It's kind of the Mililani Mauka of the area. It's about 25min outside of downtown Portland with ridicously affordable brand new homes. We weren't planning to live this far from the city center, but 2,600 sq ft high quality custom built sure looked tempting.

Older smaller house in a closer neighborhood that we love or massive energy efficient mansion further away? After much thought we're leaning toward the later. There's a reason these houses are so cheap, and Sellwood (our favorite neighborhood) will almost certainly go up in value (and is ten times more interesting).

We followed up our Happy Valley excursion with never ending soup, salad, breadsticks (Lins) and never ending pasta (Me)
